Venetucci Farm

For a preschool field trip we went to the Venetucci Farm on Friday the 17th of Oct. Mr. Venetucci has been giving away pumpkins for many many years and passed away a few years ago. The farm is carring on his legacy by giving pumpkins to kids. In years past they have given close to 20,000 pumpkins away but this year because of hail and birds they only had 5,000 we were fortunate enough to take part in this great tradition. The boys were so excited to pick there very own pumpkin; the lady there told the kids that the green ones are magic pumpkins because each day they would turn more yellow or orange, how clever to get ride of the green ones. It worked because Kaden picked one and each day he tells me its getting more orange. Thanks Mr. Venetucci
